Life. What is it all about? Are we simply here to grow up, fall in love, get married, have children, watch them grow up and then die? Is that all there is to this thing called life? Is it simply about existing until we cease to exist? Or is it more? I am so glad to tell you that life is much more than just existing and then poentling around here and there until we either get sick or die. Life is about much more than that. It is about purpose.
There was a time when I did not much care forCause and Effect. I was young and bold. One day I opened my Bible and began to read, Seek ye first the kingdom of God. All of a sudden a whole new meaning to life entered my mind. God is always speaking to us through his word and making us feel something.
There is a purpose to every created thing. Have you ever looked at your hand? You visibly see two hands. Is that part of you that is a bit slower than the other parts of you? Have you ever stood behind a lectern and a spoke to someone? What was that like? What did you feel? Your hand may not speak, but your mind still is. Just as your hand may not be speaking, your mind is still talking.
In the realm of God, we can communicate with each other however we chose. It does not matter what we look like, where we are from, or what we are doing. We are all part of the same body. We are all nerves to each other and together we are responsible for each other. Victory could be at hand yet if one person did not have the courage to jump out of the way of the oncoming train. James 1:12, “My brothers, count it all joy when you meet trials of various kinds; for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.”
We are put in different situations to enable us grow. We have to be strong to deal with these tests. There will be times when you feel that the pain is too great to endure. What you need to understand is that God has the power to help you endure. We can endure whatever he puts in our cares if we fully trust in his power.
Take his word for it. When your day of adversity has come, you will need to know that the battle is not yours but the Lord’s. He will help you through it by his word. But, know also that the victory has already been won.
You cannot become a child of God without stewardship. Without a set plan and a faith to activate your plan, you will not be able to get the victory. Let your stewardship begin immediately. You are a faithful steward when you begin to choose the things you will do for God each day and before the Lord speaks to you about the results.
Is your room too small for the things you want to do? Then you need to expand your room. Don’t be afraid to muster up the courage to boldly go where you would not dare to walk otherwise. Are you timid because you are afraid of the changes you may make? Then take courage and boldly walk where you are bravely speaking out the message.
Let us stay in the corner of the hills while the rest of the world is enjoying the fresh air. We don’t need to have to lungs to breath. Simply allow God His fresh air and refreshment in spirit, soul and body. Let us stay in the corner of the past while the world is plundering the riches of the unknown.
Are you timid because you are afraid of to try the new things your eyes see in the new? Then be courageous and push those limits in your heart. Be bold and see what you have been afraid to do.
The important thing is that you are willing to step out of your comfort zone to take the chance that the Lord has. Never throw away your best ideas on account that you fear being criticized by your friends and family. Hosea 4:6, “Do not let targets become yours eyes in the dark.”
Your friends may not understand why you are not advancing. They may see you as stubborn and hard to reason with. Put aside your doubts and next time, when you think about your life, ask yourself if your life is absolutely miserable. If the answer is no, then you should definitely trust the Lord’s solution, a truly wonderful way of saying thank you to God. A perfect choice to build a brighter future instead of a disaster waiting to happen.
“Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified!”
