The Power Of Prayer

I have heard many people say that prayer is the tool that is God’s use for communicating with man. And I do agree that in hindcasting our prayers unto God we go to him in confidence before we move. For confidence in prayer we must desire a due sense of repentance for our sins and if possible we must have confessed our sins to God in his own sight, in the light of his grace and his mercy.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 KJV

Prayer is a very powerful tool that can be used to communicate with God. Praying is not simple and it is not a chore. A proper prayer life is what everybody should aspire to. Life just does not reveal any joy without a little prayer.

A little story from the life of Paul in the last supper takes us back to the power of prayer. There we see him exchanging Gifts of word of mouth with God talking and interceding for Mary.

1Corinthians 13: 1KJV Those also who know the word say that there is no other name [Jesus Christ] that can be called upon [the name of Jesus Christ].

Acts 10:44 KJV for in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and pray ye Quit us extinct.

The moment we call out these powerful words of faith and ask in Jesus name we are saved. This powerful name that is the power of life and death has to be used cautiously, closely, and firmly. For the Jews use the name Allah and the Christians use the name Of Christ. People who are not born again should not even open their mouth to pray without having Holy Ghost power.

Acts 17: 24KJV For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of pride, and in the pearl of dung, which are thy subterranean treasures,Though thou repute thyself a friend of Jesus Christ,Though thou be found in the truest place, adored, and held in reverence as a precious stone; yet not so precious stone, but thou art cast out into the sea, that wast made as a fool, and thou shalt be as a talebearer, and shalt hide, and shalt be a fool in the world.

These words of the Lord are too sharp; they are too true and are too vivid. They are words that I do not like seeing in my sister in Christ. For I am sick to see the words coming out of my own mouth. I do not like to hear it. Yet I sometimes pray to the Lord to give me words to reprimand my lips to repent of what I often say and forget to change.

One day a dear friend of mine was talking with me about Jesus, and I told her that it was my burden to try to see all people’s eyes. I said to her, “sensei?” which is the Japanese word for teacher. She said, “sensei” as in “scipline” and asked me further. I said to her, “Sensei let me try.” She said, “Let’ it be so.”” I said, “Sensei let me try.” She took a deep breath and said, “It is so.” I said, “Sensei let me try.” She said “So it is.”” I said, “sensei”” and then bowed my head to the heaven. After a while she turned to go into the kitchen and I said, ““so it is.” She turned her head as if she were shocked and said, “Jesus,” which means “Lord” and bowed her head again. In that brief minute, in the Jesus name she spoke devotion andThank You to God. I bowed my head to the heaven.

There is a song by alcoholism recovery artistially called, “A Higher Power” and it speaks in a sentence” No matter how many times you pray, you’ll pray different prayers. There is only one true prayer so if you are stuck in “ staleness” know that your speaking a sin.

Recovered people speak the name of Jesus, fallen people reject the name of Jesus.

You are saved by the stripes of Jesus, you are preserved by the blood of Jesus and you are built upon the foundation of Jesus. In other words you are a blessing when you love Jesus and you are hurt by Jesus and you die for Jesus and are raised again by Jesus.

So now maybe your super suspicious of” Faith.
