Fear Or Faith – What Is The Choice?

The nation of India is in the midst of one of the greatest spiritual awakening ever. The situation can be explained by understanding the nature and effect of fear and faith. The default mindset of the Indian Mind is fear. However, over the last decade, the Indian Mind has slowly begun to change its mindset and today, many are proclaiming that India has reached the tipping point of its “consciousness transformation” and has entered the “kindle”. However, what is really happening, as the millennium unfolds, is that the Indian Mind is literally being burned out of fear.

Fear is the parent of all negative emotions and thoughts, which spawned from lack of trust in the self. Most of the time, people are not even aware of the fact that they harbor ill feelings or negative emotions. The family of the “taken for granted” has locked their fate to the child and the marriage lock is even more secure. The whole populations of the world are living from fear and there is very little love for one another. Instead of looking outward to make our countries better and more secure, we should be looking inward to remove the source of our fear.

There is no doubt that we would all like to change our countries and those around the world to better than they were. However, if we look deeply into our own self, we will find that all the global issues that we are facing can be traced back to one base fear and one downfall of faith in oneself.

The Sanskrit word “chitra”, can be loosely translated to mean “fear of the self” or “fear of ones own weaknesses”. This is a far cry from the Islamic meaning which is found in many sources, which can be briefly described as follows;

“And certainly We did not create the jinn (evil spirits) who say, “God have mercy on whom desires have been fulfilled!” And We wish to keep him in subjection, so We have made from Our own Self tenavoidableethat If they were arrogant (possessing iniquity) they would be destroyed by Our prohibitions.”

While this statement is not an absolute definition, it gives the readers a little more insight about the psychological composition of Middle Eastern societies. This is not to say that these negative behaviors were not prevalent in the secular societies, however the fear or belief in the Islamic God is the main focus here, since this is the primary reference used to many of the behaviors. While this idea is degrading to allankind, it is fairly logical to understand that were it not for the shahadat, or blasphemies, the world would have most likely resembled a Sodom and Gomorrah in the history of the world. By shahadat, the reference is not to an actual figure that people would look up to, but rather the fear that is the foundation of evil.

This fear is built from the notion that everything primarily is seen through the eyes of a supreme being. This is a critical component of the Arab World, which is composed of three main religions; A Mohammadan, B Hinduism and C messianic reform. With the fall of the Muslim empires, the commoners became empowered by democracy and the declaration of rights. This follows the Arab World’s passion to become a world power. This is witnessed by the current state of the world, which is a basket cases region, almost like a third world country. The rule of the Arab countries is still oppression based on one-man-one-woman. What we really need to see is not how the Arabs are beating the Muslims, but we must also look at this great difference. Even the Jews who are a people are divided, and as such they cannot build a society that rewards the oppressed.

The main difference between these societies is that the Arabs are seeking the return of the Biblical kingdom, while the Jews mostly retain the symbol of previous empires. These two facts certainly will not sit well with many, and that is only to be expected.
